In 2021, the refiner will offer three different sizes of silver bars, with the 10 oz bar being the middle size between the 5 Oz bar and the 5000-gram silver bar. Each 10 Oz bar of silver is wrapped in its own bag. Cast silver bars are a more rustic alternative to ingots made from coins. Cast silver bars have their natural flaws left after they are polished, while polished ingots go through a more complicated process.
On the front of the 10 troy ounces Heraeus Cast Silver Bar, you can see the mint’s logo and identifying marks. At the top of the vertical field is the logo, and below that are the weight, amount of metal, and purity. At the bottom of the bar is a carved number that is unique. Most cast silver bars have writing on only one side, and they often have flaws that you wouldn’t see on minted ingots, which are polished after being machine-stamped.

Like the headline says, this 10oz bar is quite small compared to a more standard sized JM or RCM bar. Length and width are shorter but it makes up for it in thickness.
It came in a ziplock bag with the matching certificate in wonderful condition.
