Germania Mint is delighted to announce the minting of the 2021 Germania Coin – the first since she set sail.

The Allegories of Germania Mint presents legendary female personifications of prominent historical lands and nations. The brave and beautiful Lady Germania was shown meeting with the guardian of Great Britain, Lady Britannia, in “symbolic circumstances” on the inaugural release. 

An image of Austria and Germania is displayed on the obverse, holding hands while Austria has a sword slung around her waist and a wreath of laurel on her head. He holds a spear and wears a crown made from oak leaves. They’ve collaborated to symbolize the friendship that exists between these two countries. Above them is ‘ALLEGORIES, 1 OZ 999.9 FINE SILVER.

In addition to the coat of arms, the reverse side shows the Germania Mint’s rendition. Germania only exists in history. According to the mint’s interpretation, the coat of arms would look like if it were based on the rules of heraldry. Also, a two-headed eagle, a checkerboard pattern, ribbons with three flowers, and a wild boar. On top, it reads GERMANIA 2021, and at the bottom, 5 MARK.
