About 1 Oz Bitcoin Commemorative Round
You can now own a physical representation of all the Bitcoin you have or wish you had with the Bitcoin 1oz Copper Round.
As surreal as this is, the Bitcoin symbol is on an actual coin. Michael Bruce created this design in 2010, but the HoTC mint has reintroduced it for this special limited edition coin. These Commemorative Rounds are in original packaging inside plastic tubes containing 20 individual rounds by Osborne Mint.
The symbol on the front of the Bitcoin Commemorative Round is the iconic symbol for Bitcoin. The design for the Bitcoin symbol resembles the letter B, but with a vertical line down the center, resembling the American dollar ($). These etchings read Bitcoin – Digital – Decentralized – Peer to Peer AOCS Approved and 1 AV oz .999 Fine Copper.
The reverse side of the coin shows microcircuitry, perhaps a nod to Bitcoin being a cryptocurrency inside a computer. The microcircuitry has a space inside reminiscent of a microchip. There is a signature of MJB, the designer, and the date of manufacture below.
