The old royal head of Elizabeth II facing right, donning the royal diamond diadem tiara and the Victorian Coronation necklace worn on her Coronation, is depicted on the coin’s obverse. The designer’s initials J.C. are written in minor characters on the left.  The date of issue, the monarch’s legend, and the face value constantly go around the rim: AUSTRALIA, ELIZABETH II. Two joyful Fraser’s Dolphins are depicted on the coin’s reverse. FRASER’S DOLPHIN is inscribed around the top left corner. The metal content of 1 oz is around below right. 999 SILVER FINE.
