This outstanding proof coloured coin is the third release in Perth Mint’s renowned Australian Kangaroos series. Each coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.99% fine silver and allocated as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965.

The coin’s obverse side features an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II created by Jody Clark. Each coin arrives in an official box with a certificate of authenticity.

The coin’s reverse depicts a bounding kangaroo and its joey as they make their way across the outback. The design includes grey-gold coloured outlines for each animal, orange and dark yellows for their fur patterns, with pink, blue and grey tints for the grasses of the plain and colourful pink hillocks in the background. The left-hand side of the design includes The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark, the inscription ‘KANGAROO,’ and weight and purity.
