On the obverse, an Armenian coat of arms is portrayed. Inscriptions include the “REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA” both in English & Armenian languages, the face amount of 200 drams, the mint’s emblem, and the coin’s weight and fineness. A motif from the biblical account of Noah’s Ark is depicted on the back. While floating near Mount Ararat, a dove with an olive branch rushes toward Noah’s Ark. Inscriptions in English & Armenian scripts read “NOAH’S ARK.”
