The East India Company and Issuing Authority of St. Helena have released the second installment of the Queens Virtues Series. Following the success of the first issue, which showcased the mythological figure of Victory, the second issue in the six-coin series focuses on Truth.

The six designs for the Queens Virtues Silver Coin Series are based on mythological show characters at the Victoria Memorial outside Buckingham Palace. The monument was constructed in the years following Queen Victoria’s death in 1901, and it contains multiple mythological figures in its style.

The obverse of the 2022 St. Helena Silver Queens Virtues Truth Coin portrays Queen Elizabeth II. The third-generation sort of the Queen’s effigy was utilized from 1985 to 1997 by the Royal Civilization. It is a timeless image of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the George IV State Diadem on her head, created by Raphael Maklouf.

The opposite design of the 2022 1 oz Silver Queens Virtues Truth Coins depicts Truth. The figure of Truth is depicted in left-profile relief, holding a mirror in her right hand and slipping back with her left hand to comfort a tiny child. A palm branch is gripped in the hands of that little toddler.
