The Gold Maple Leaf single-sourced coin comes stamped with the same design on the back as all other coins from the same series. The obverse contains Walter Ott’s design of the Canadian Maple Leaf with the inscriptions of weight, metal content, and purity printed. “CANADA” is engraved on the upper edge, “9999” on both sides, and “FINE GOLD,” “1 OZ OR PUR” on the bottom.

To the right of the Queen’s head on the reverse is the illustration of a former Queen, Queen Elizabeth II, in the right profile. Near her bust, we read the text ELIZABETH II written on the rim, followed by 50 DOLLARS and 2022 for the denomination and year of issuance, respectively.

In addition, this side contains two important marks. The globe cradling hand represents the responsible extraction made in a unique mining operation. Also, the laser-engraved maple leaf is encased in a “22”, representing the coin’s RCM Bullion DNA Technology.
